I visited on Thursday afternoon / evening and was very impressed. a decent menu with a lot of options and quite reasonable too especially if your weekday main meal deal (can be found on your Facebook page). my meal was a decent portion size and very tasty. the pub had recently a comprehensive makeover and looks very attractive. there are no large numbers of tables, so I recommend to book forward for more busier times... I had hoped that the change of ownership might have heralded an improvement to the food offerings. Unfortunately the food is still verging on inedible. The place was almost empty at lunch time which should have given me a clue and the staff looked as though they would have rather been anywhere else.
