Struggling to find an empty table we happened upon this place. Welcome was friendly, service helpful and efficient. We sat in the garden which was pleasant but, while I like dogs, I am still not keen on them being in a restaurant and sharing food with their owners. We came here on the basis of the RL Stephenson book of his travels with a donkey, but I think the food has been left in that era! Whilst the place is nice, the staff are friendly, the food was truly awful. The selection of pizzas is weird enough, but once it came (late) it was cold and the toppings were bad - heaps of soggy red/yellow peppers on one, actual pasta tubes on another - pasta on a pizza!
