great place to stop drinking when they wander around the hill to continue in salzburg. we did not eat, but the beer and the hot chocolate were great and the staff was friendly. amazing view into the city and across to the fortification, even at a cold day, as long as it is a little sunny, sitting outside and enjoying the view. The view is great but unfortunately the food isn't worth a visit! It's not austrian style at all... the Topfenstrudel and the Kaiserschmarrn were awful if you know the real austrian cuisine! The mozarella on the tomatoe-salad wasn't good quality. In total, the food was a desaster and for the quality not cheap as well!
