My original decision to visit San Antonio first was when I saw Ma Harper's Creole Kitchen on Diners,Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network. It wasn't disappointed. The gum was so advertised. Many shrimp and sausage a little spicy and the corn bread is a good supplement. The catfish was cooked very well and hot like the Jumbo shrimps with a kick of spices. As out of towners- this was our first time visiting Ma Harper's. The seating staff was so friendly and inviting. However, We waited 40 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and take our drink orders.
