We often visit the North Yorkshire Moors region and I can't understand why we have never found The Board Inn before this. We booked in for dinner and received a warm welcome. The menu was on a large chalk board and presented with a very good choice of local produce. We visited today the food wasn’t good at all. The coronation chicken sandwich just tasted of vinegar and the chips were literally black. We noticed upon leaving that a couple next to us ordered scampi and chips (they must be local) as these chips looked lovely. We only live in Whitby and visit lealholm often but we won’t be returning here View all feedback.
