I had several bad experiences at the old location in Moosic but have since amended my review for the new spot in Scranton. The menu is not terribly extensive but is executed well. The bar area is beautiful and the drinks complex and delicious. The clientele and price point is slightly more upscale than other places in the area. What Emerson Roberts doesn't like about Av:
The atmosphere and service was great. The food on the other hand was mediocre. We got the meatballs, shrimp and octopus for appetizers the octopus was too chewy to really eat, the meatballs were dense (tasted frozen) and the shrimp was fine. We also got a couple of the pasta entrees which were okay. Honestly pretty disappointed in the food. Wouldn’t return there are better options in the area. View all feedback.
