Asked for if steak and ale pie was short crust. I don't think that's an unreasonable question. Gentleman taking order said he didn't know. I asked him to please ask. Eventually I asked him to please ask the chef as the staff by the bar he asked didn't know. I was then told it was. When it came it wasn't, it was puff pastry. At this point, I gave up and didn't say anything. It was still nice though. Food: 3 View all feedback.
