I have been purchasing meats from McKinnons for many years. Always best quality. Recently I saw spinach feta sausages that looked amazing. I cooked them still excited to try. First bite… fennel. Not a bad flavor but I am allergic. I pulled the package out of the trash to see ingredients. Funny I always look with regular sausages but it never occurred to me with this flavor pairing.
