We recently came here for Yum Cha. The dumplings were delicious and the owner suggested some extra dishes which were indeed well chosen. The owner was extremely charming and friendly and was only too happy to chat and give suggestions on dishes. The waitresses were also very friendly. I would certainly go back for another yum cha or perhaps dinner next time. I'm glad we now have a good yum cha restaurant in St Ives. View all feedback.

We went to Lan Yuan over eight months ago and were very disappointed. At the urging of friends we recently went again. Unfortunately the food has not improved during that period and still tastes and looks like it has been pre cooked. Our duck spring rolls were served within a couple of minutes of being ordered and were so hot (as in temperature) that you could not eat them. To get them this hot, were they microwaved?...
