Friday night in august, just off a buzzing little square, but we'll away from the touristy old town, the XX is a gem. It was too crowded outside to get a seat, but calm and quiet inside, which really suited us. We had two glasses of white and two of red - all fantastic, and good range of non-french wine too. We were at the wine bar the xx with friends in the evening. the place on the terrace asks for patience, if you have not booked but the wait is worth it! the reception is user-friendly and the servers are very good advice. We took the same bottle of wine twice, it was excellent!
