The restaurant underwent renovations and now has limited seating, with the bar being the main option due to the TAB taking up much of the room. Despite this, Dome offers a cozy and vintage jazz atmosphere upstairs, with chandeliers and murals creating a pleasant ambiance. The canape's served are delicious, with the smoked salmon on baguette being a delightful teaser. However, some customers had negative experiences with rude staff and overcooked food. On the other hand, the pub is praised for its good value, large portions, and delicious food such as burgers, barramundi, and chicken schnitzel. The atmosphere is described as welcoming, especially during trivia nights. The restaurant provides a simple but enjoyable selection of drinks, making it a great spot for a relaxing evening or Summer drinks.
Based on the average assessment of 3.5 for the Players Bar, one can assume that it has satisfied the most of its visitors.
