Went to the Red Lion for the first time today for lunch. Good choice of food on the menu. Our food was excellent both starter and main course, well cooked and delicious. Very good value for money. My only criticism was that the service was very slow considering that there were only three covers. Although slow the staff were very pleasant. 40 minutes to get a small bowl of olives and some cheese bread. Only to discover that on a Saturday night they had NO steaks. What??! One more thing.
