We use the Major’s Retreat regularly, why ? because the food is great and the Landlord, Roy, is the friendliest nutter you will ever meet. If you enjoy a pint of real ale most are local and well kept. The Pig’s Ear is recommended, but dont have too many and definitely don’t drive afterwards. The staff are as friendly as the landlord, but maybe not as mad ?.... Some of the best pub food you will ever find. View all feedback.
