Our granddaughter aged 15 came to town for the weekend with her best friend. They wanted to go to the Art Gallery of Ontario so my wife and I took them to Franks for brunch. The brunch was well received . The poached pear was wonderful, one of the girls had a paine perdue-sort of bread pudding with chocolate, my wife had eggs benedict and I had an Enchilada. I was at Frank the other day and thought I would order the beef burger. It arrived with a small bowl of french fries. The burger was mushy and tasteless. I thought it was raw given the colour and mushiness. The waitress came to the table and I pointed out how disgusting the burger was and when she looked, she realized that I had been served the veggie burger.
