Daal makhni was really bad. It was like lentils put in a watery gravy with cream. Lentils were not even cooked, they were raw. Daal makhni is usually simmered and cooked for many hours sometimes over night) to give the distinct flavour. This one was tasteless, creamy and watery like a soup !
