Was not in a cotton patch for a while, but will definitely go back soon. The last time it was in Waco. Although I had the chicken fried steak with steamed veggies, fried okra, the actual struggle decided to get double sides. My friends had mixed and coordinated lunch, and I hear the meat is wonderful. 10 minutes at the reception. A waitress recognized us, nobody even took our name. They called the restaurant and asked politely whether they were guests, in a huffy voice they said they were, but they are in a moment. Finally, someone came from behind and took our name... counted, and there were 22 guests waiting... Not sure why, place was full of empty tables. It was pretty clear that they didn't want our business, disappointing because I loved these restaurants, that's not worth it!.
