Today was my first time visiting the Uptowner. Great food, character and staff! I’m always looking for great “hole in the wall” places for breakfast. This is exactly what I’m looking for. I had the Denver omelette. It was delicious. The hash browns were cooked well. Staff were incredibly friendly. I will be visiting this cafe more often. We had a gotten the wrong order, the waitress was kind but wasn't able to do anything. We left without really eating (because the wrong order and cold coffee). Tried calling the manager for 4 days in a row, the woman who answered each day said she gave the manager a message but still have not received a call back. Really frustrating service.
