Very amenable staff. A French style of doing things from days of old, and this is no bad thing, just unusual for a visitor! No frills. Menu is uncompromisingly old school, making many choices quite hard to go for unless you adore offal in its manifold forms, few of which may be palatable to the uninitiated.
