I was in Paris with a tour group and we had some free time in the village of Versailles. The moderately priced menu initially drew my group in, and I'm so glad we did. Me and my two friends (two of us are French speakers/natives) The manager told the server to serve the larger table before others. When serving us he spoke with a very condescending tone, then asked if we wanted English menus. We said in French no thank you, he then brought us back English menus.
