Our first visit here despite taking holidays in the area for 30 years. It's a bit like Dr Who's Tardis being much bigger on the inside than first imagined. Two rooms inside and a beautiful terrace sheltered from the sun. The terrace looks across the vines to Volnay where we had a terrific Formule lunch of 3 courses, no choices, for €17. It's 12 months since our previous visit and some things have changed, others not. The location is fantastic looking across the vines to Volnay or Pommard, the decor is perfect and the service outstanding. But the food quality has decreased and no longer seems value for money, smaller portions and less attention to detail/requests. The people are charming but we are now reluctant to return.
