We went for lunch with friends who live in the area. The restaurant’s ambiance was superb and restful in a corner table near the fireplace. The menu offered many interesting and affordable choices and the staff was welcoming and down home friendly. What betteskid doesn't like about Evangelo's Restaurant:
I had dinner here recently while passing through Wasilla. The portions were very large and the food was ok although it arrived out of sequence my husband’s main course came before his starter. My food was cold and my glass of wine arrived after I had finished my meal. Perhaps they were really busy that evening. I cannot give a higher rating because of the problems I have noted.
