We called in Friday lunch time and had two excellent meals. One was off the specials menu, Cornish sole which was delicious. So went back on Saturday for lunch again. Staff very friendly and attentive. We were here for a long weekend but would highly recommend The Plough. View all feedback.

Nice place with lots of character but we found that the service was poor and the food was worse. Had gammon and everything on my plate was straight out of the freezer except the fried egg. The chips were a massive dissapoinment, I could have done better at home in 20 minutes. Service died off to zero for half an hour as we finished our meal. The waitress was having a chat at the bar.
