The cafe has a selection of freshly baked cakes, pastries, and light bites. It’s decorated in village farmhouse style and immaculately clean. They also have a selection of items for sale eg jams, honey abd gifts. The staff are very friendly and keen to help. There is free parking always a bonus. View all feedback.
What Lynn H doesn't like about The Blackbird Cafe:
After hearing good things about this little cafe I thought I'd give it a try. Oh how I wish i hadn't bothered !! Arriving there at 1.50pm I was told the kitchen was closed (the opening hours are 9 -3pm) The only thing available was some scraps of mediocre cake. Seeing as I'd made a 15 mile round trip I decided to at least buy something. A slice of cake and pot of tea for £7. Certainly not my best decision of the day. View all feedback.
The restaurant also provides suitable seating for its smallest guests in the form of high chairs, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables. If the weather conditions are right, you can also eat and drink outside, and there's a counter where you can sit and have.
