The Knoxville Zoo has improved greatly from when I brought my young grandchildren here 6 years ago or more! I was impressed with the new layout, buildings and displays!!! The food is way way too expensive, so bring your own food! They even charge $3.99!for a cup of water!! Ridiculous, totally ridiculous!!! Employees were incredibly rude. One staff member was cleaning tables and we asked her to clean off a table for us and she said no sit somewhere else. Talk about rude! The cashier was also very short. read more.
