Our nine days in Vienna turned out to be all about art museums, a different one each day. What a surprise to find good dining in most all of them. The restaurant at the Albertina (which is an interesting collection well worth visiting) was actually FINE dining. Grilled tuna, fresh pasta, classy service. Lunch for two was 71 Euro, but worth it. I visit the Albertina on most of my trips to Wien. On this occasion I was plonked on a tiny table just inside the restaurant it really wasn 't busy. Sandwiched between the wall and the sound system. With staff trying not to trip over my feet. Coffee a Grosser Brauner was excellent. On the menu there is also a selection of vegan dishes, which completely avoid animal products, besides, the local delicacies of the restaurant are also not to be underestimated. The vegetarian options on the menu complete the offering of the establishment, and even has gluten-free menus on the menu.
You are served by the friendly staff right at your table, and there is no-charge WiFi. The extraordinary view alone is enough to make the visit worthwhile.
