The Sailing Club is “old” Queensland— friendly people, generous serves, and not fancy. The Club is located on a point overlooking the bay— would be hard to beat the position, and sitting on the balcony watching the sunset is pretty special. $8.50 for a standard tap beer Carlton dry) rip off can’t wait till we can go overseas which won’t be long now , we’re lucky as we live in FNQ so not paying for flights, but I wouldn’t bother going back to Airlie everything...is overpriced and a lot of places closed or for lease servers them selves right for ripping people off.
