Visited during a family holiday for dinner. I had the home made steak pie which was lovely. Plenty of meat crammed into the pie. Just what I’d hoped for. Staff were pleasant and the cafe is nicely decorated. Good place for a bite to eat at a reasonable price. View all feedback.

I ordered the stake pudding and chips, my wife the roast beef dinner, can't really fault mine was OK nothing special. The home roasted beef dinner was something else, the beef looked and tasted like the frozen stuff you get from Iceland. The Yorkshire pud was made from a recipe that resembled bread, impossible to cut with a knife and indigestible. Donte is a kind way of describing the veg, or uncooked is another way....
