We celebrated my sons 18th birthday at the Lumiere and had really good time. Service is very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, the filet de boeuf Café de Paris is meat at its best and the wine card is also really relevant. This is near the famous Hotel Widder. Very central. Has a lovely terrace with plenty of tables. But, it is busy and popular, book ahead. Or rock up at 6pm and you should get lucky.So, so service. Clueless waitress greeted us when we arrived. Then the steak was served without a warmer and was soon warm, rather than hot. True of all dishes.We had their signature entrecote cafe de paris for 2.
