We had one of the best lunches in a wonderful, centrally located but quite cafe in Aix en Provence. To access you need to go through a souvenir shop called The Chat Reveur in Place de l'hotel de Ville. Located up the stairs ,at the back of the shop, it is out of the crowds in the market place and it did not look as if the tourists have found it yet. It seemed to be full of locals. It is a very small coffee, with lots of charm, but a little too small to be comfortable and have a little discretion during the meal.
