We discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago traveling south, but it was out of season and closed mid week. On our return we pre-booked for Saturday night. We are so glad we did as the place was full, mostly with regulars. We both chose to eat from the specials board. A three course meal for €16. Excellent food with very friendly staff. We had driven past this restaurant for years, and finally got around to visiting. It looks very welcoming from the outside. Inside is homely, historic and comfortable. The host is very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. Those are the good things. In our opinion the food was mediocre at best.
