We were travelling north and stopped at a caravan and motorhome club site about 3/4 mile from the Royal Oak Tibshelf. The Royal Oak has had a very obvious refurbishment and we received a very lovely welcome from the new owner. Good menu with plenty of choice, service was great and food plentiful. From entering with a group of 13 5 of which where children below the age of 7 years before 7.30pm on a Saturday evening. In which we where the largest party in the pub at 7.00pm on a Saturday. The children where playing (as 7 year olds do) in the extensive outdoors area as well as in the indoors (grab machine and pool table).
