Outstanding German restaurant in BOLTON LANDING, New York. Large beer selection (especially the dark beers). I have the Cordon bleu schnitzel. Excellent. If you like German food, do not come here. The only thing halfway decent was the bread. The sauerbraten was awful. Some nasty gray meat covered in a gravy that vaguely resembled sauerbraten flavor. The meat was very tough and tasteless and definitely never touched any marinade which is required of actual sauerbraten. My husband's schnitzel was barely passable and full of gristle and fat.
