We had a fantastic experience from start to end, at this new wine bar in Somerset West. Their wines are sourced within a 10km radius, and the sommelier is extremely professional. The casual atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are in Somm’s training program that supports local young people to develop skills and a career path. Someone else said this was the worst garage in the Helderberg to fill up at, and I have to agree. The night-shift staff (those who are there around 3-4am) are the most rude people I have encountered. That's when they are awake and not sleeping on the job. I would be EXTREMELY embarrassed if I were the owner/manager.
