Wow what a mid week treat, the perfect carvery. Id heard it was good but haven’t been in here for over 10 years. We chose the Sondes as the mid point for a family meet/meal and it was an excellent choice. This is a busy pub serving fabulous food. Got there just before 7pm. Waiter took drinks order : i asked for lemon fanta and received orange fanta. My wife ordered rhubarb gin and it tasted like carbonated water (no gin and no rhubarb taste) I complained and received another and you could taste the gin but no rhubarb.
