The warmest of welcomes from the very moment we arrived. A wonderful afternoon followed, with a delicious tea for 10 members of my family....celebrating my Mums birthday. My friend and I called in for coffee/tea and we both had a toasted tea cake. The tea cake was fine with plenty of butter. However, the cafetière of coffee was weak with little coffee flavour. The pot of decaf tea had a very strange taste and was a grey colour. We both paid £7 and felt this was rather steep for something very average and wished we had said something at the time.
