Staying at a Holiday Cottage nearby we booked for Sunday Lunch.It made our holiday to be served such excellent food.The beef was so tender and the vegetables very colourful it made my mouth water.I couldn't resist a desert which was equally delicious Ginger and Rhubarb...Crumble which melted in the mouth .We booked to eat again and were equally impressed certainly a place to recommend. The only pub I’ve been in where your partner is shouted at by the staff for trying to have a conversation while a band plays. Fair enough some people are there for the music but there was only 2 groups in the bar area, me, my partner and a couple of friends and a couple who looked to be with the band itself!
