After a warm reasonable trip on the Gibb, coming from Kannura, it is wonderful to relax in Mt Barnett road house. There is a shop, cold drinks and very expensive diesel. We are yielding over $2.05 per liter. In Derby it's only $1.40 so we don't fill up too much. Of course too much because you don't take any risks. We eat delicious sandwiches with lots of ketchup. Wouldn't stay here again. Dirty, dusty (moreso than any other site on Gibb River Road), toilets and bathrooms were not cleaned regularly, very little shade with rubbish around when we stayed. Very disorganized, with most campers not happy. View all feedback.
