What User likes about Mt Barnett Roadhouse:
After a warm reasonable trip on the Gibb, coming from Kannura, it is wonderful to relax in Mt Barnett road house. There is a shop, cold drinks and very expensive diesel. We are yielding over $2.05 per liter. In Derby it's only $1.40 so we don't fill up too much. Of course too much because you don't take any risks. We eat delicious sandwiches with lots of ketchup. What User doesn't like about Mt Barnett Roadhouse:
Wouldn't stay here again. Dirty, dusty (moreso than any other site on Gibb River Road), toilets and bathrooms were not cleaned regularly, very little shade with rubbish around when we stayed. Very disorganized, with most campers not happy. read more.

A visit to Mt Barnett Roadhouse is particularly valuable due to the comprehensive selection of coffee and tea specialties.

"With a pleasant old fashioned bistro ambience with lovely food and coffee. We were here as part of an Iconic Australian Tours group and we loved the colourful outdoor lighting, red checked table cloths and an amazing aroma wafting down the street. Wouldn't call it fine dining, but I will say it was unexpectedly great cooking in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere!"
