We walked in expecting the place to be heaving but it was empty bar one couple. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The food was amazing. Why does no-one eat there. lovely view from the window. We tried the Bruce last night and cannot fault the welcome or service but noted only two staff were present: the barman, his first night, and the owner who cooked as there was no chef. Overall, the visit was a bit disappointing. The service was good given there were only two people on duty, but I would rate the food as only fair and not upto some of the descriptions we have read on this site. I'll put it down to an o... In pleasant weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables. A counter with the ability to sit down invites you to linger.
