"We stayed here, as a quick sleep over as we were attending a wedding a few miles up the road. We arrived early hoping to change, but alas as they had been fully booked the night previously, this option was not available to us. Keys were collected for later and once travelled. Later, we returned and found the room very comfortable, with adequate facilities required for a one night stay. I ventured to the bar and found the staff very friendly and highly efficient. I the morning, breakfast was a real feast, with us both electing the full cooked option which was first class. The menu was extensive and although we did not have an evening meal, there was considerable choice. On the practical side, COVID measures were very evident, with most people adhering to these. We enjoyed our brief stay, it was certainly good value-for money, with local amenities fairly close by."

"Just back from cairnryan and do not believe what you read on their website, no entertainment complex, no decent soft play, dirty small pool, no shop, worst caravan park ever been to, food awful, had to wait one and half hours both nights for meal...and were only people eating. Entertainment for families, well last night was mens poker served by naughty nurse.......Eh..... Caravan unclean, nothing what do ever to do, regular power cuts, I could go on and on, STAY WELL CLEAR FAMILIES"

"Currently on holiday and wanted to celebrate our Nieces 16th birthday. Menu is very limited, food was something I could have prepared at home but to a higher quality. Prawn salad was basically frozen prawns in a Marie Rose sauce with a bit of salad....Mushroom on toast was a piece of toasted bread ladled with sliced mushrooms in a very salty garlic sauce. Haddock and chips were ok but quite greasy and mushy peas were dry. Service was mediocre, had to keep asking staff for extra drinks, cutlery, sauce etc. I would avoid, quite expensive for the quality received, not good value for money."

"I'm giving it a 5* because the staff were so lovely and the food was very good. The bedroom was strange,with a storage cupboard and combi boiler in it. The bathroom was grubby but the shower worked well. The bedrooms and the upper part definitely need attention. The bed was comfortable and Tea making facilities are a bonus. Rooms: 2 Service: 5 Location: 5"
