The Hertford Club held a small Beer Festival in September which was open to non-members. This provided a glimpse of what is behind the walls surrounding the club. It has a pleasant garden at the front and side (this overlooks the river). The garden is small but nicely filled with flower borders and plentiful seating. Dreadful food provided on the ‘veggie menu’, but not for lack of trying. They typically put vegetarian buffet food on the same plate as meat products which is unacceptable. Drinks and atmosphere are very good however. Just eat before you go. View all feedback.
