As part of a touring male voice choir, called in here unannounced on a Tuesday lunchtime en route to the airport home. We were welcomed and enjoyed the best kept beer (Doombar on draft) of our entire tour then all ordered meals which were delivered swiftly, all enjoyed the food with no complaints at all. My wife and I were meeting friends here for a drink however we hadn't had any dinner so we decided to order some food before our friends arrived. The food was decent enough but wasn't anything special. It would be fair to say that it was fairly typical pub food. Our friends arrived half way through our meal and we all enjoyed our evening.
