Lovely friendly staff and ambiance in Tanners here for my sons birthday family get together lovely time had by all food was great as usual 3 courses had by most of us all of us had a dessert as can’t resist it as too many too choose from highly recommend definitely be back again.

We now live locally and have been looking for a nice local restaurant and we have definitely found it. The food was impeccable and we enjoyed the comfort surrounding us 10/10 a first time today for us today and certainly not a last!

Arrived and was shown to table by friendly Barman, ordered soup and husband ordered haggis fritters the I ordered steak pie and husband had scampi. The food was delicious and absolutely piping hot! Sou very tasty and husbands enjoyed the haggis, the steak pie was one of the nicest iv had in a long long time, meat just melted in my mouth, scampi was love and fresh. Definitely will go back. Just real hearty homemade pub food with decent portions
