We normally visit another restaurant in Eguisheim but on this day it was closed so we looked around and found this little restaurant tucked away in a shaded alley. We both chose the Sirloin, cooked rare, and it was so tender and went perfectly with the lovely sauce, carrots and new potatoes. The wines were great. A Schoepfer Brut and Gewurztraminer. The Scottish smoked salmon with zucchini mousseline was delicious. The goat cheese and mild chorizo entree was very good. However, we had to ask for the fish with noodles dish to be reheated as the noodles were cold. We found the fish tasteless and it was an uninspiring pairing, even with the chorizo sauce.
