"This is a nice, small restaurant serving typical local food. I think this restaurant presents itself as a competent provider of typical local dishes, and it does that. Local wines, outdoor seating, relatively quiet. The server was friendly and spoke good English to tourists who spoke poor French."

"Visited Alsace almost as soon as Americans were permitted in to France. We stayed in a VRBO property outside of Eguisheim and this was the optimal restaurant for our first night, having spent much of the day driving and not wanting to have to drive...anywhere. It was a lovely walk through the village and our evening could not have been more perfect. The staff spoke enough English to make up for any gaps in my French and provided excellent attention not hanging over you every second but also being attentive to any needs we had. We ordered a prix fixe menu and they were very accommodating to my wife not wanting the pate de foil gras, giving her an excellent fish option. Really enjoyed their wine list it offered a good range of prices and our server made some excellent suggestions (we even ended up visiting one of the wineries the next day to get some wine to bring home to the States. Made a perfect start to our holiday in Alsace."

"We booked a table online as the Christmas market was on and we knew that everywhere would be busy. The restaurant is decorated in typical Alsace style and the food was excellent. My starter of warm onion tart was absolutely delicious, The Choucroute Royale was huge! : The staff were friendly and we would definitely eat here again when in Eguisheim."

"We were there during the Christmas period. Despite the stress of the period for traders, we were welcomed and served even if we had not booked in advance. Benevolence, politeness and goodness are placed in this establishment! We ate very well, a small menu with good fresh products and tasty dishes. Very good address I recommend!"

"We were joined with our Finnish friend for this lunch. Total menu would have been too much, so we chose 'short style '. I was very happy with my l 'assiette gourmande local sausage salad, pate pie, munster croutons etc. as also my wife and our friend with their chicken spätles. Good selection of wines and friendly service despite full house. We were lucky to be seated without reservation. Eguisheim seems to have lot of good restaurants (our previous place was still closed, open only on summer), but remember this on cold and rainy days."

"Whilst staying in Gueberschwir, a neighbouring village we visited Eguisheim and stumbled across Auberge du Rempart. It had a chalkboard advertising the famous Flammkuchen so we decided to eat there. The meal wasn't memorable, but still tasty. We also had Apple strudel and a Coupe Panache along with a Kir Royal to drink. The town itself is very pretty and nice to walk around after your meal. I am a little late in writing this review as we visited last year in Sugust"

I went there in a beautiful inner pro. frame, a new mix on old. a very good dosage. culinary side, waitress with little care, a very good menu with a rich, innovative and tasty.
