This was a superb meal. Excellent food and very pleasant service if slightly rushed initially. We arrived at 7.30 and ordered pre-dinner drinks to have in the garden, unfortunately, these had to be served at our table as we had booked at 7.45 as that was pur booking time. Seemed a shame as the restaurant wasn't full. That being said, the food was excellent. Highly recommended. View all feedback.

I paid a few pence short of £50 for a three-course meal at this grand old lady of a hotel, which BTW I've been visiting for 30 years. I'm still in shock! My starter comprised a piece of duck no bigger than my little finger, and this was followed by a piece of lamb which, while tasty, was no bigger than a box of matches.
