it was the best meal I had in kyoto. we saw the place on the way from Bamboo Park to the affenwald and decided to give him an attempt. we waited in a long wait for about 45 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. they have set various options of menus and they serve them a free green tea when ordering. the food was so delicate, tasty and generous. the atmosphere is very peaceful and pleasant. Long story short, if you happen to pass by and there’s no long queue and it fancies you, go right ahead. Compared to its famously known bream fish sashimi with 3 ways to eat which is almost flavorless(the side dish on the other hand is too salty. , the miso-based grill fish is wayyyy better to my taste.
