"Travelling solo as a vegetarian and found this Michelin guide vegan restaurant. You could book through their website. As this week is the Golden week (28 April to 6 May), it might be the reason why some days are fully booked. Standard menu for me at 3,000 Yen for one person. Comes with hot Japanese tea and you could add on sake or beer. Delicate in the variety of flavors in pickled vegetables, soy and root vegetables. You would need to pay additional 500 Yen to get into the Tenruji temple gardens before you can access the restaurant in an obscure corner next to the main hall and the pond. Pleasant experience. You can pay another 300 Yen to see the world heritage site Tenruji temple’s signature dragon painting (which I did not view). Exit the garden at the north gate to have quick access to the bamboo grove."

"This is a very special chocolate shop. instead of white sugar, it uses interesting sweeteners like a Chinese plant called mönchsfruit. they make raw chocolate and bud to barcholate, as well as cakes, hot chocolate powder, chocolate-covered nuts and chocolate-covered fruits. some products use milk, honey and I believe eggs, so if they cannot have this dinge, check them after the vegan label on the price tags or consult them with the personal. I loved the heavenly chocolate and black sesame/coal chocolate. charcoal does not seem like a food ingredient, but it was amazing. my mother liked the green tee, but it seemed to me a little two-dimensional. it tasted just like green tea and cocos oil. I guess it's unfair because it tastes like what's in it, but I thought it needed more dimensions. the coworker was kind and stopped me on the cake. the berry cake was small, but amazing. this day there were three types of cake as special and two were vegan. had milk or eggs. I don't know if they have cake every day. I also tried chocolate and they were wonderful. they reminded me of the convenience shops, but much healthier. I have a lot for omiyage gifts for non-vegetarian known. I would like to go back and try more types of cake, chocolate covered nuts and hot chocolate powder. it is not very cheap, but I highly recommend it for chocolate lovers or those who are looking for healthy gifts."

"One of my favourite craft beer bars. They brew beer onsite and sell all of it so you have to head here to experience the creative brews. The food is excellent. A nice mix of small snacks that go well with the beer selection. Tacos, chicken rice, nuts, chicken wings. Try the vegan tacos! There’s a nice outdoor seating area which is covered so it’s possible to sit outside rain or shine. They also have a great selection of merchandise available for tourists to buy a little gift to take home."

"Omakase is an experience when they trust the cook unconditionally with their meal. he chooses the choices and they get to try his expertise in the choice. thanks to tempura endo for an amazing experience. eating was amazing and the service was from this world. our chef and our waitress were so brilliant that they even look at us. this deserves individual photos."

"Amazing sushi for great prices! hard to find, they go from the west gate in kyoto station. they serve all kinds of sushi! from horse meat to grilled mais, tempura, akanishi shell fish, raw squid legs, meeress soup, arche shell fish, crab salad, lobster lettuce, ivory mussels fish, million crumbs, raw horse meat (yes, pickles) ¥146 tax or ¥346 tax. stack them up and stack them until they are full and let the waiter know so they can set up their bill. pay them in front. credit cards accepted. delicious beer! make your own green tea at the table. there is an outlet for hot water and tee bag in a container on the table. It helps to use the back of the chiffel to press on the tee bag, allowing more steepness to occur for a stronger brew. if they want something they don't see (like fattoro just ask the waiter or the cook and they will make their request super fast. ask for water if you need it, not served on seats."

"Simply one of the better meal times I had in this opposite. 1100 hours before midday and there was no waiting. what interested me was the long waiting queue of local (not foreign tourist) during the Sakura period. I knew I had to try it one day. there are in the round only 3 meal options to choose from. our meal for 4 came with extra rice (no extra cost.) her very beautiful green tea was also complementary."
