Absolutely loved our evening in the fantastically theatrical, imaginatively furnished, candle-lit Dungeon restaurant (our waiter eventually admitted that it had in fact been the stables, but never mind! Excellent, good value food, attentive, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Rump of lamb with slow-roasted rolled shoulder was particularly good, followed by an excellent cheese selection. We were left just to sit there and unnecessarily order drinks and select our food before waiting about 45 minutes to be taken down to the restaurant.
