We were in the area, so we popped in.. A very attractive restaurant and bar. Very courteous and friendly staff. We had the mushrooms on toast with poached eggs. Very good. Not what it used to be I'm afraid. This used to be a favourite for us for special occasions but we had dinner here this evening with a friend and were disappointed with the experience. The restaurant no longer has a cosy feel, the staff were attentive and friendly but the menu choices were limited and the food was very basic.
